VINIFICATION
One of the earliest vintages on record. Mild heat days and cool nights through February allowed the grapes to ripen slowly, producing pronounced varietal tones of spice and blackberry. The grapes were harvested in mid-February and fermented on skins through to dryness in static stainless steel vessels. Aged in seasoned French oak. Traditional time-honoured basket pressing has given the wine a balanced structure.
